MMADIKA obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Witwatersrand in 2004 and her Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Witwatersrand in 2006. To broaden her knowledge in Competition Law, she completed the Competition Economics Winter-School course: Lessons from Key South African Cases at the University of Johannesburg in 2013 as well the Competition Law post graduate certificate at the University of Witwatersrand in 2015. To enhance her Leadership skills as a Senior Manager, she completed a course named Women in Leadership, Organizational Leadership at the Wits Business School in 2019.

She is a Competition Law Specialist with over 13 years of experience. Her experience includes advising on merger control, prohibited practice matters, compliance as well as conducting due diligence.

Mmadika commenced her law career at Brink Cohen Le Roux Inc. in 2007 as a Candidate Attorney specialising in labour law, litigation, as well as corporate and commercial law. In 2009, Mmadika proceeded to specialise in Competition Law (in particular, prohibited practices) at Werksmans Attorneys. In 2011, Mmadika's primary focus was on mergers and acquisitions from a corporate and competition law perspective. In 2015, Mmadika headed up the TGR Attorneys competition law practice where she focused on mergers and acquisitions. From 2016, Mmadika focused on competition law, regulatory, as well as corporate and commercial law across Sub-Saharan Africa at Webber Wentzel.

Over the years, Mmadika has conducted compliance audits and developed compliance programmes for various companies. She has worked across the consumer, energy and infrastructure, health, mining, transport, the telecommunications, media, and technology sectors.

Mmadika also assists clients during dawn raids and in responding to summonses issued by the competition authorities. She has assessed, prepared, and notified merger notifications across Sub-Saharan Africa, including to the COMESA Competition Commission, a regional regulator on the continent.
